Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, professional and personable manner
• Assisting guests, with aptitude in clienteling, and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Willingness to obtain knowledge of jewelry and services offered by Genesis Diamonds in order to respond to all customer inquiries
• Ability to demonstrate and add value to the shopping experience at Genesis Diamonds
• Exhibit professional sales associate characteristics, attitude, and behaviors at all times
• Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise, and remind them of upcoming events
• Network within the community as well as with staff for development of leads
• Attention and focus on the job during the day
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and pertinent data

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in bridal jewelry
• Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers
• Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals
• Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Presents a professional image in appearance, words, and actions
• Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, efficiently and thoroughly
• Motivation, integrity and high level of work ethic
• Knowledge of jewelry specific software and/or willingness to learn Edge Point of Sale

Experience

• Jewelry Sales: 3 years (Required)
• Bridal Jewelry: 1 year (Required)
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• High-end sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Education

• 2-4 year degree (preferred)
