For every purchase over $1,000 Genesis Diamonds provides a free jewelry appraisal to all of our customers. Please note however, that a Genesis Diamond appraisal is for insurance purposes, that is, to reflect insurance replacement value. The value or values given in this appraisal are an estimate of the current replacement cost at which the appraised jewelry may be purchased in a retail jewelry store selling the item(s) for a price based on that particular store's individual pricing structure and criteria. The listed values for replacement in the event of a loss are offered to give the owner sufficient protection to recover like quality and value and similar styling and do not necessarily reflect the original purchase price or previous appraisals.

Jewelry evaluation and appraisal is subjective, and is not an exact science. Estimates of quality and full retail value may vary from one appraiser to another, and such a variance does not necessarily indicate error on the part of any appraiser or Genesis Diamonds. All grades are estimated by the appraiser. All weights listed are approximate, unless the appraised stone or stones are submitted loose to the appraiser. This appraisal is an estimate of full retail replacement value; accordingly, you should not expect to be able to sell the article(s) for the amount listed.

Your policy should include insurance for gemstones and diamonds against loss, theft, damage, and mysterious disappearance. Ask your insurance agent to quote the policy without a deductible and with the above coverage.

For a small annual premium, you gain extensive coverage that far outweighs the cost of replacing your ring outright. Generally speaking, the cost to insure your engagement ring and valuable jewelry, is about 1-2% of the appraisal value. If your ring is appraised for $10,000, this would cost about $150 per year. Note that Genesis Diamonds does not cover the cost of jewelry insurance.

Genesis Diamonds offers free, fast, and secure shipping to all of our shipping destinations. Any purchase over $700 is shipped for free and fully-insured.

For your protection, Genesis Diamonds always:

1. Requires that all deliveries be made to a physical business or home address only.

2. Disallows delivery to post office boxes.

3. Requires an adult to sign for the package.

Although we make every effort to keep our inventory up to date, it is possible for a loose diamond or jewelry piece to be sold before we are able to remove it from the website. In the unlikely event that this happens and you purchase a diamond that has become unavailable, we will immediately contact you and give you the option to either order a similar diamond or cancel the order. Not all inventory that you see on the website may be available for purchase - some items may require a special order.

Management makes every attempt to ensure that our online catalog is accurate and comprehensive. In the event an item is listed with an inaccurate description or incorrect price due to data entry or system error, we reserve the right to correct any and all errors and cancel any orders placed for the item listed at the incorrect price or with the inaccurate description.
